Terms of Hire

1 - No Fires, No Asbestos, No Fridges, No Freezers, No over loading, No Tyres, No food waste.

2 - The skip is hired for a maximum period of two weeks. Skips can be hired longer by arrangement.

3 - It is the customer’s responsibility to contact us, to arrange collection of the skip.

4 - Skips on the road must be lit and it is the hirer’s responsibility to provide the lights.

5 - If the skip is going on the road, a space must be saved for the day of delivery, as trying to locate parked cars is time consuming and sometimes impossible.This could mean we are unable to drop the skip, and a wasted journey may be charged.

6 - When a skip is ordered off road, it is the person hiring the skip responsibility to make sure the skip is loaded correctly and there is no rubbish left on the highway. Any fines or court action summoned by the local authority will be served to the hirer.

7.If the vehicle is ordered off road by the customer, any driver representing Libra Skip Hire is not responsible for any damage caused, including paving slabs and tarmac pathways.

Libra Skip Hire reserves the right to change prices, discount and promotions at any time

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Application for refunds must be sent directly to Libra Skip Hire for consideration by The Company Management. Libra skip hire will refund cancelled skip orders in full, providing at least 24hours notice is given. If a on road licence is ordered the local authority will not refund the fee and you will still be charged.

Delivery Policy

Libra Skip Hire need a minimum of 48hrs notice to deliver a skip off road. If the skip is to go on the road Merton and Lambeth authorities need 5 days notice to issue a licence. Please allow this time when ordering. Libra Skip Hire will endeavour to deliver the skip in the time slot available but do not accept responsibility for late deliveries due to unforeseen circumstances.

Recycling Policy

The rubbish is taken to waste transfer station, and recycled wherever possible.
